Physicians across the United States are anticipating a rough flu season for Americans. In Australia, the H3N2 strain experienced quite the surge. Although this is not a guaranteed way to anticipate what is to come this flu season, this information is a clear sign that we must be prepared.
Flu Season Calendar
Generally speaking, the flu season in the United States begins in November and lasts throughout May. Infections tend to peak between December and February, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The Flu Vaccine Saves Lives

Not only does the vaccine help protect individuals from contracting the influenza virus, it also protects the public by preventing further spread of the illness.
